This eatery is simply cool. The restaurant is an old barge tied to the pier east of Ninth Street. From here, you have a nice view of the lake and the Ninth Street Pier complexes (such as the Rock Hall and the new Science Center).
The food here is delicious. Their dinner menu is somewhat limited, but what they do, they do well. They have the best crab cakes. The Sunday brunch is a treat, too. A little less expensive than the one at the Watermark, it is almost as good.
I've always had very good service here. The serving staff has always seemed friendly and talkative to me. Always a pleasure.
Given the location, decor, and service, the cost of a meal here is on the low side. Heck, if you're coming from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, dining here will seem a steal!
