This place is relatively new on Bereas' new Strip west of town. It is a free standing structure with ample parking. The interior is simple, but interesting. Not overly crowded with ample space between tables.
On our first visit we encountered a Mediterranean menu with dishes like humus, tabouli, falafel, etc. Since opening they have expanded their menu to include more "American" dishes. Burgers and chicken sandwiches, beef and pork entrees, and chicken entrees. Low fat items are identified on the menu.
On our second visit we were greeted at the door and seated immediately. The waitress was pleasant and friendly. She took our orders and the food was served within twenty minutes, We ordered from a "Specials for the Day" menu. Our food was ample and very good. The waitress seemed a little preoccupied with other matters, but gave us her attention when summoned. I also did not get a refill of coffee until I requested it. Overall I would consider the service fair, but could be better.
The cost of our meal was in the $$ range. We believe that an improvement in their service would make this a better place for a family experience.
Amy's ReviewThe place looks very nice. It has a great atmosphere and is split into two sections. They have a beautiful dining room which is very quiet and great if your looking for a peaceful meal, and then they also have the lounge section which is where the bar, televisions and music are. They even have a large screen TV where they show all the football games. They also now have an indoor heated patio which can be used for parties and is also usually used for Kareoke on Friday nights. When we walked in we were greeted immediately and sat. The waitress was with us very quickly to get us our drinks. And she was very polite and attentive.
The food was EXCELLENT! They have a very good menu that has anything from the usual chicken wings and burgers to prime rib and crab legs (but that's usually on the weekends). They also have some interesting mediterranean dishes like tabouli and humus. The best thing is their daily homemade specials which are very inexpensive (usually between $4-7) and also very delicious. My personal favorite is the chicken paprikash which is usually served on Tuesdays. The portions of the specials are awesome too. They don't just give you a tiny bit, I mean I had enough to fill me up and still had to take some home. The food looks great and tastes even better. You should definitely check this place out if you haven't yet.
The service was also excellent. The waitress was very sweet and cute too. Even though she had other tables to serve, she was there every time we needed something and always checked up on us to make sure everything was good. She was very friendly and talked with us, more than the usual "would you like more coffee" or "can I get you a refill". She actually asked us about our nights and was extremely kind to our kids. They loved her. I don't know if it was just her or if all the waitresses were like that, but she was an excellent server.
The prices were very reasonable. The daily specials are a great deal and the regular menu items are decently priced as well. The only thing that is a little expensive is the weekend specials, but we're talking prime rib, crab legs and lobster so of course it will be expensive. But still the weekend specials aren't a bad deal either when you consider that you get a soup or salad, vegetables and your choice of potato too. Overall I would say the prices are very good, especially if you can get a hold of one of those entertainment cards. Those will take like $10 off for every two entrees you order.
