That American classic, the diner! Now here is a fine example. It's small. You can see the short order cooks work their magic. And the waitresses usually earn a tip that exceeds the cost of your meal!
I can't remember if they even have anything on the menu that you ought to avoid, but only a fool would order anything more complicated than a hamburger here, anyway. The value here is tremendous, though. A meal can be had for under four dollars. Given the level of service here (where your coffee never gets cool), tipping 50-100% is certainly called for.
