Solon has become the new city in the light. We have about five new restuarants in the area with all good food. They include: Cooker's, Max and Erma's, LongHorns, Rocknies, and a old favorite which has the best food in town and looks the same when it opened in Solon almost 65 years ago.
Jim's Open Kitchen in Solon is one of the last old restuarants you'll find in the area. It is known as the best greasy spoon diner in Solon. The hamburgers are the best and they do serve a good meatloaf and sloppy joe sandwich. The fries are the best and if you want to try this be my guest and give it a try, you'll love it as much as I do!
Jim's Open Kitchen is located on Rt 43 (Aurora Road) just west of Rt 91 (SOM Center Road) in downtown Solon. Right next to Rocknies. Take it from me if your looking for a old-fashion restuarant then Jim's Open Kitchen is the place for you to enjoy your next meal. Prices are cheap and the waitresses are a delight!
Jim's Open Kitchen reveals a decor out of the 40's and 50's.
The food is always good, but try their blueberry pancakes-you will thank me forever.
The service, although this place is usually busy, is beyond good. If you are in a hurry, no need to worry!
The menu isn't fancy, but it seems you should be paying more for what you get.
