Currently my favorite restaurant in this area, just behind Sans Souci. The fare is Mediterranian (a mixture of French, Greek, Italian, Spanish, and Middle Eastern). The decor is nice, especially the tin ceiling. The dining room is cozy, but not crowded - good traffic flow. There is off street parking for Geogio's just south of Detroit off of W117.
I haven't had anything that I didn't like there. My favorite dish, however, is the beef medallions. Still, everything on their menu is wonderful. The food presentation is unique, too. Your plate comes littered with bits of green and maroon leaf bits. That certainly beats an inedible green sprig of something in the corner of your plate.
Service, too, was simply outstanding. Coffee and water glasses were kept full at all times. I have not had such expert service from any other restaurant in this area. This is probably because of the modest number of tables and the fact that this is a family owned restaurant.
Of course, such excellent food and outstanding service come at a price, but even the cost of their meals is great! Entrees are typically under $20, if my memory serves me correctly. Dinner for two can be kept under $50 quite easily. Here, I felt as though I was paying for the food and the service, not some fancy setting or high-sounding name.
