Jim's Review

This family restaurant is located on the north side of a busy section of Lorain. It doesn't look like much, inside or out. Still, for what it is, it does a good job. If you are in the mood for a breakfast entree, or a simple lunch, go can't go wrong here.

The menu is quite extensive. Still, I would strongly recommend sticking with the tried and true: omelettes, BLTs, and the like. This is a mid-American diner. Nothing here is spicy or extravagant.

The waitresses here are wonderful. They deal expertly with the noon crowds and the seniors that frequent this place. They deal with special requests quickly and cheerfully. Water and coffee never dry up. I can't praise them enough.

And, of course, there's the price. The price is low. Very low. Lunch is usually under $4.00. Like most diners, the wait staff earn 50-100% tips (whether they actually get that is beside the point - they deserve it). As long as you stick to simple items, the meal is a bargain.
