Bass Lake Tavern

I have to be honest here, I was underwhelmed. Many people have told me that they just love the place, but I don't. Just because it's fancy doesn't make it good. Bass Lake Tavern specializes in wild game.

The food consisted of such things as antelope. I'm sorry, but I much prefer a good steak. Cow tastes better. I tried a variety of foods there. I didn't really like any of it.

Service was lacking, too. It may have been that there weren't enough waitresses. Whatever, that's not my problem. The service was below average to borderline rude. If we weren't with a group, they would have gone tip-less.

As is often the case, fancy restaurants with fancy food costs a bundle. This place is downright expensive. I can't say that it's worth it.
