TRIPLE WIN's Review

The decor of Agostinos is varied with the original dining room being of a more rustic look. The expanded part of the building lacking some of the ambiance. Unfortunately, that seems to be the high point of the experience.

The menu offers entrees as expensive as $21 dollars. Very high for a restaurant whose menu is a legal size sheet of paper. I was really surprised that for a casual dining experience Joe Gallo would have the nerve to charge such high prices.

They served an infused olive oil with the bread upon seating. Upon first taste I realized that the oil served was not olive oil. It tasted greasy and had no flavor, even though there were visible pieces of spices floating in the oil. I should have realized that a restaurant that cut corners here is not worth a continued look.

We orderded a calamari appetizer and an antipasto which were both uneventful but good. Disappointed with what we had received so far, my friend and I choose simple pasta dishes for our entree. His pasta with garlic and oil was good. I ordered the white clam sauce which was served in a gelatinous mass at the table. It had a good flavor, but the appearance was too much.

Service staff was adequate, not what you would expect for the prices you pay.

Take a look somewhere else.
